Joe Hickman has been in the real estate development industry for over 25 years and has overseen construction of over $1 billion worth of developments in North Texas. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, his years of experience on complex, high-profile projects have made him an expert in master planning, execution, and project management.

Mark Hickman has a diverse background in construction project management, construction owner’s representation, banking and commercial forestry services. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, he joined his family forestry service company that employed over 400 employees. After relocating to North Texas, he provided construction loans to custom builders then was selected to work on the $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium as assistant project manager. Following the successful completion of that project, he joined the stadium operations team and oversaw all construction improvements to the facility. In 2014, he was as selected to be the Jerry Jones Family owner’s representative for The Star project in Frisco, Texas.

To date, over $750 million in improvements have been completed including Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, two office towers, a 12,000 seat multi-event center, retail, hotel and medical facilities at The Star.

Nicholas Link

Nic Link is a third-generation development and construction manager, working for his grandfather and father during high school and while attending Texas A&M University in College Station. He graduated in 2003 with a degree in Construction Science and joined Manhattan Construction Company in Dallas, Texas where he spent 14 prosperous years. After leaving Manhattan, formed HLM Construction Management with Mark Hickman and Joe Hickman. Collectively the team has overseen more than $1 billion worth of projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth marketplace. Nic’s strong connection with the area and diversity in market sectors such as, office, medical, public safety, government, sports, aviation, industrial, retail and tenant improvements will benefit any major building program. His years of experience on complex and dynamic projects have made Nic and expert in master planning, pre-constructionservices, estimating, contract management, safety, budget development, cost adherence and scheduling. He is a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, The North Texas CCIM, and The Texas A&M Association of Former Students. Nic is LEED accredited and has an OSHA 30 hour certification. 

A current resident of Frisco, TX, Nic is married to wife, Sandra and they have three children. Hobbies include travel, hunting, fishing, and golf.
